- Advice and recommendations regarding air conditioning systems
All services are subject to site inspection, availability of materials, and any applicable regulatory requirements.
2. Quotations
All quotations provided by Luna Air Conditioning are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on the information available at the time of preparation. If unforeseen circumstances, site conditions, structural issues, electrical upgrades, asbestos, access restrictions, or additional works are identified during the project, additional charges may apply.
Any variations to the agreed scope of works must be approved by the customer before additional work is undertaken.
3. Bookings and Appointments
Customers must ensure reasonable access to the property at the scheduled appointment time.
If access is unavailable, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and a call-out fee may apply.
Luna Air Conditioning reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, safety concerns, supplier delays, staff illness, or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work.
- Deposits may be required for installations, special-order equipment, or larger projects.
- Ownership of supplied equipment and materials remains the property of Luna Air Conditioning until payment has been received in full.
Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, EFTPOS, credit card, or other approved payment methods.
Overdue accounts may incur administration costs, debt recovery costs, and interest charges permitted under Australian law.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide safe and unobstructed access to the work area.
- Ensure electrical supply and site conditions are suitable.
- Inform Luna Air Conditioning of known hazards, asbestos, structural issues, or safety concerns.
- Operate and maintain the system according to manufacturer recommendations.
Failure to meet these obligations may result in delays, additional costs, or cancellation of services.
6. Installation and Workmanship Warranty
Luna Air Conditioning warrants its workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the completion date unless otherwise stated in writing.
This workmanship warranty covers defects arising directly from installation or service work performed by Luna Air Conditioning.
The warranty does not cover:
- Manufacturer defects
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidental damage
- Lack of maintenance
- Power surges or electrical faults
- Storms, floods, lightning, fire, or other natural events
- Work performed or modified by third parties
Equipment supplied by Luna Air Conditioning is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
7. Repairs and Fault Diagnosis
While Luna Air Conditioning will use reasonable skill and care in diagnosing faults, we cannot guarantee that all faults will be identified during an initial inspection.
Repairs are based on the condition of the system at the time of service. Additional faults may become evident during or after repair work and may require further repairs at additional cost.
8. Maintenance Requirements
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure efficient operation and preserve manufacturer warranties.
Customers are responsible for maintaining their air conditioning systems in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luna Air Conditioning shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic loss arising from system failure, loss of income, loss of profits, property damage not directly caused by our negligence, or delays beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantees or rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Force Majeure
Luna Air Conditioning shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including extreme weather events, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, industrial disputes, government restrictions, power outages, or acts of third parties.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland or New South Whales.
